The Gedotec flap hinge 231 is a compact and functional furniture fitting made of robust metal, specially developed for mounting inset cabinet doors and flaps. Thanks to its stable construction and space-saving design, the furniture hinge is ideal for furniture making, interior finishing, as well as for the repair and retrofitting of existing furniture pieces.
The flap hinge features a centrally positioned pivot joint with a diameter of 6 mm, which enables a swiveling connection between the two hinge parts. The specially shaped hinge wings are designed for inset doors, where the door panel sits within the furniture carcass. Due to its compact design, the fitting can also be used where space is limited.
The integrated recessed fixing holes allow for simple and neat screw mounting on the intended furniture parts. The robust Zamak construction provides a reliable mechanical connection and supports long-lasting operation of the flap mechanism. The dark surface also ensures a discreet appearance and can be harmoniously combined with different furniture surfaces.
