Thanks to its special spring mechanism, the furniture hinge offers increased movement resistance both when opening and closing. This makes the spring hinge ideal for furniture flaps, cabinet doors and custom furniture constructions where a damped or more resistant pivot movement is desired without additional damping elements.
The integrated steel spring creates a mechanical resistance that affects the movement of the flap in both directions. This allows the flap to be opened and closed with noticeable resistance, which can reduce unintended, easy swinging.
