The Gedotec TELESE cup hinge is a decorative and functional furniture fitting for mounting rebated cabinet and furniture doors. With a cup diameter of 27 mm and a visible hinge barrel, this furniture hinge combines reliable hinge function with a classic, elegant appearance. It is ideal for furniture making, interior fitting, as well as for the restoration and retrofitting of traditional furniture pieces.
The cup hinge was specially developed for rebated furniture doors, where the door leaf has a stepped edge and, when closed, lies partly within the furniture carcass. The visible hinge barrel with decorative end pieces gives the fitting a distinctive appearance and makes it particularly interesting for classic, rustic and antique furniture constructions. The hinge is designed for a 5.8 mm gap.
The cup with a diameter of 27 mm is mounted in a corresponding bore in the door leaf. The matching mounting plate for fastening to the furniture carcass is already included in the scope of delivery. Pre-drilled fixing holes and slotted holes make screwing easier and allow precise positioning of the furniture door. The sturdy metal construction ensures a reliable connection and smooth pivoting movement.
