The Gedotec furniture hinge with decorative barrel is a high-quality furniture fitting made of robust Zamak (zinc die-cast), specially developed for mounting overlay cabinet and furniture doors. With its classic design and elaborately shaped decorative ends, this screw-on hinge combines reliable function with an elegant, traditional look. It is ideal for furniture making, interior finishing, as well as for the restoration and retrofitting of classic furniture pieces.
The furniture hinge is designed for overlay doors, where the door leaf rests on the furniture carcass when closed. The sturdy pivot joint with a diameter of 9 mm enables a swiveling connection between the door and the carcass. The decorative barrels arranged on both sides give the hinge a distinctive appearance and make it an attractive design element on visible furniture fittings.
The integrated adjustment mechanism allows the door position to be adjusted during installation. Pre-drilled fixing holes and slotted holes make screwing easier and support precise alignment of the furniture door. The hinge is supplied fully pre-assembled, so the individual components are already connected to each other in the correct position.
