The CHIUSO damping set from Zimmer offers high-quality, liquid-based Smooth Comfort M technology, which enables precise movement sequences and noticeably optimises furniture or technical components. As a soft-close solution, CHIUSO impresses with its long service life of 100,000 cycles and its reliable performance in a temperature range of 10 to 40 °C. With a stroke of 70 mm and a designed weight class of 30 kg, the set is ideal for applications that require smooth, external closing damping – for example in industry, mechanical engineering or high-quality furniture systems.

The damping set is robustly constructed and designed for maximum functionality. The two-piece screwed housing made of PPT20 in grey RAL7035 ensures stability, while the free-wheel mechanism enables smooth operation even without full release. The type S locking lever is made of high-quality polyketone in natural colour and harmonises perfectly with the durable spring made of EN-10270 steel, which supports a precise, controlled closing movement with forces of 13 N (F1) and 24 N (F2).

With a total length of 254 mm, a width of 15 mm, a height of 44.7 mm and a bore distance of 224 mm, CHIUSO can be easily integrated into existing systems. The holes are countersunk and designed for Ø 5.5 mm fixing screws, which guarantees secure installation. The screw-on design makes installation particularly easy and flexible.

Thanks to its high-quality fluid technology, the damping set ensures a smooth, noise-reduced closing movement, thus increasing both the service life of the entire system and ease of use.
