The ELCO ball bearing slide from Gedotec is a high-quality heavy-duty slide for demanding applications in furniture construction, workshop areas and industrial use. With a load capacity of up to 120 kg per pair of slides, a ball-bearing guide mechanism and a robust construction made of cold-formed steel, this heavy-duty extension provides a reliable solution for heavy drawers and extension systems. The 100% full extension allows complete opening and ensures convenient access to the entire drawer contents.
Thanks to the precise ball bearing technology, the telescopic slide impresses with smooth, quiet and stable operation. The electro-galvanized surface protects the steel against corrosion and supports a long service life even under intensive use. Side mounting ensures reliable guidance and optimum load capacity.
A special feature of the ELCO ball bearing slide is the integrated Lock-In / Lock-Out locking mechanism. It secures the extension in both the closed and fully opened position and prevents unintentional opening or pushing in. Release is conveniently carried out via the integrated operating lever, which protrudes about 25 mm beyond the end of the slide. This additional dimension should be taken into account when planning the installation space.
The separable inner rail makes installation and removal much easier. This allows the drawer to be removed from the slide and reinserted without difficulty. Please note that when the release lever is operated in the fully extended position, the entire inner rail together with the drawer can detach. Therefore always hold the drawer firmly and secure it against falling.
The heavy-duty slide is designed for side mounting with evenly distributed load. When mounted horizontally as a shelf slide, the load capacity is reduced to about 25% of the specified load rating. For surface-mounted drawer boxes, an additional mounting bracket set including matching screws is available. An optional one-hand locking lever also enables easy and synchronous locking and unlocking of the drawer slides.
