With the KA5740 swivel sliding door system from Hettich, furniture can be equipped with a comfortable and space-saving opening mechanism. The high-quality system enables furniture doors to be moved sideways and slid into place, providing an elegant solution for cabinets, sideboards and other furniture applications. Especially in areas with limited space, the KA5740 offers a practical alternative to classic hinged doors.
The set contains two ball-bearing runners that ensure stable and smooth door movement. The required number of ball-bearing runners per door must be selected according to the respective door height in order to ensure optimum function and load-bearing capacity. The selection of the suitable ball-bearing runners also depends on the door width. A maximum door width of 600 mm must not be exceeded due to the technical requirements of the recommended hinges.
When using a ball-bearing runner with a nominal length of 700 mm, a door up to 600 mm wide can be fully slid into the furniture carcass. During planning, the desired handle or grip solution should be taken into account to ensure convenient operation and a harmonious appearance.
Suitable cup hinges and mounting plates are required for complete installation and must be ordered separately.
