The Gedotec surface-mounted hinge 399 is a robust and functional furniture fitting for the installation of inset cabinet and furniture doors. Made of sturdy iron, this furniture hinge is ideal for furniture construction, interior finishing, as well as for the repair and retrofitting of existing furniture pieces. Its compact design and classic hinge construction provide reliable and practical fastening for movable furniture doors.
The surface-mounted hinge was specially developed for inset doors, where the door leaf sits within the furniture carcass. The two elongated hinge leaves each have three oval fixing holes, which allow horizontal adjustment during installation. This makes it possible to adjust the position of the furniture door and align it precisely with the furniture carcass. The countersunk screw holes support a clean and flush screw connection.
The sturdy metal construction with a classic pivot joint enables smooth swinging movement of the furniture door. Thanks to the simple screw-on installation, the hinge can be mounted on suitable furniture surfaces without the need for complex recesses. The different surface finishes also allow suitable coordination with various furniture styles and existing fittings.
