The PREMIUM cutting disc from CUTOP sets new standards in the field of cutting technology. As a three-star cut-off wheel, it offers exceptional performance and durability for a wide range of materials, including metal, stainless steel, aluminium and cast iron.
This SG three-star cut-off wheel is manufactured using a special type of aluminium oxide: the state-of-the-art sol-gel corundum, also known as ceramic aluminium oxide. Thanks to its unique microcrystalline structure, this abrasive grain has a self-sharpening effect during the cutting process. This results in superior cutting performance and a remarkable service life.
- Self-sharpening effect: The microcrystalline structure means the disc always remains sharp during use and re-sharpens itself
- Greater hardness and sharpness: Harder and sharper than conventional aluminium oxide, it enables more precise and faster cuts
- Longer service life: The closed structure with low porosity ensures greater hardness and therefore a longer service life for the disc
- Cost savings: Compared to conventional cutting discs, the PREMIUM cuts at least twice as many cuts, which significantly reduces the cost per cut
The PREMIUM cutting disc is resistant to breakage and wear thanks to the optimum balance between hardness and toughness. It has been certified by the Hanover Materials Testing Office (MPA) and fulfils the safety standards of European standard 12413 (EN 12413).
