By elevating the material, edge milling becomes easier as there is more space for the router bit. The clamps also have more space to slide the clamp head underneath the workpiece, which is useful for drilling pocket holes or assembling your project.
If you want to paint or finish your project, you can use the extendable painting tip with GripMaxx for a little more height. Simply turn the project block to raise the tip and support your material on it - the painting tips won't even stick to your material and won't ruin your finish.
